Finding the right care for someone you love shouldn't feel this hard.

I truly love and appreciate Cullman Health and Rehab. My Mother has been a resident for several years now and we love the care she gets there. The renovations to the facility have been great, especially repaving the parking.

My daughter and I came to eat with my uncle Ronnie Walker (my mom's baby brother) for Thanksgiving. He was so excited to see us. The food was fantastic, the sweet potatoes were some of the best I have had in a long time. The dressing, green beans... well to tell you the truth it was all very delicious. And as always the staff went above and beyond to make it festive and welcoming. Thank you again for the care and respect you have shown Ronnie, and our family.

My Dad had great care at Cullman Healthcare. Susan was VERY helpful and did a great job helping me get my Dad settled in there. The nurses are great! They made sure my Dad was comfortable and had everything he needed. The place is clean and the food is good. They all work together there to give the patients the best care. I highly recommend them.

My dad was in the rehab facility for many weeks. The people (workers) were excellent! They took great care of my dad. They treated my dad with love, and they also treated my mother with love and kindness. My dad is 90 years of age, and my mother is not too far behind. So many times, our elderly are treated as less than human. We all need to remember, one day we might need special care in a facility. How would we want to be treated? The answer is obvious, with love and kindness by people who care and know what they are doing. This is the kind of care my dad received. Let me add, the facility is older, but it is kept clean. When my mother first saw the place, she was ready to get my dad somewhere else; however, the people changed everything for her, my sister and me. Dad has been in other facilities and I can assure you having the right people taking care of your loved one means way more than being in a newer place and having people that have no business working there. If you do not have a heart to serve your patients, then get into another line of work. Remember, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. When my mom was very ill, the team at Cullman Rehab and Nursing cared very much for her and helped her to recover. This staff went out of their way to help my mom and us. If you are in need of a caring staff to help your loved one, I would recommend starting here!

Thanks so much to Susan Akers and the staff at Cullman Health and Rehab for the excellent care they are providing for my mother-in-law. The process was smooth and all of our questions were answered by Susan prior to admission.

Cullman Health and Rehab is a great facility. Susan, the admissions coordinator is amazing! She is very knowledgeable and experienced with Medicare and Medicaid applications and helped my sister and I tremendously in getting our dad admitted to the facility. We felt like she genuinely cared about our family situation and treated us like she would treat her own family. All of the nurses and staff were very friendly and showed genuine care and concern about our Dad. They took great care of him and we knew he was in good hands. If you place your loved one in this facility, you do not have to worry about the care he or she receives. It will be top notch. The food was good and the facility was clean. What more can you ask for? I highly recommend this facility.

Susan, and staff, have gone above and beyond getting my dad moved in and settled. We are here for rehab and hopefully dad can improve from a sepsis infection that caused 2 minor strokes leaving him in a wheelchair. We are praying he can get back to his walker, and back home soon. I will update in a few weeks, but rest assured my brother and I did our homework for Skilled Nursing in North Alabama. The staff here care about all of the residents and it shows.

My sister Suzette had ACDF neck surgery with 4 vertebrae fused, needing full-time care with rehab for balance, as she was in a rigid (hard) neck brace for weeks unable to turn her head, with potential for devastating results & a repeat operation should she fall. Was she lucky to find Cullman Rehab & Healthcare Center! Not only was the medical & nursing care outstanding (greatly exceeding our expectations), but also their rehab was so successful, she was released more than 1 week early, feeling great! And everyone working there surrounded her with such positivity & support, she felt like a queen, with new friendships and plans to return to visit!

This facility is one of the nicest and cleanest ones I have ever seen. The people are so friendly and caring that you cannot but understand why it is the most outstanding nursing home in the area. I highly recommend that you check it out and particular loved ones in because you'll never regret it.

Susan and her staff has been a tremendous help with my mom on helping get her moved into her new room. My mom has great health care at cullman health care.

My Uncle is a resident at the facility. I am so appreciative of the facility offering a Thanksgiving meal for us to sit with me and enjoy. The food was amazing! Our family is very Thankful to Cullman Health and Rehab for all that they do!
